In Science We Trust?

The current issue of Scientific American magazine contains an article entitled In Science We Trust: Poll Results on How You Feel About Science.

Granted, the respondents to the poll were readers of Scientific American or Nature, so the demographics were skewed toward the higher educated/scientifically literate. However, this blogger thinks that the results may be looked at positively, especially when comparing how scientists fared against religious authorities!
