Could There Be Evidence For God?/Demanding Prove From Science

PZ Myers has posted on the controversy over whether there could be evidence for god and on demanding of prove from science.

William Lane Craig, in a dated video, airs out the worn argument that science cannot prove ethics, morality, logic, math, other minds or itself. Karbywarp, in this comment, counters.

  1. No offence intended but the review of WLC argument is a bit of a straw man, I cant say I've heard that his response to 'What accounts for your religion?'And replies that Science is that reason, evidence from science can be used to posit that there may be some sort of deistic God as Dawkins has said in the past but as far as I'm aware evidence for God draws from several different disciplines and doesn't rely on just 'Science' to make its case.

nice blog though I'll try and remember to come back :)

  2. Dan,

Thanks for the post and the nice comment about the blog.

Yes, I thought the comment about "science" as an answer to the question a head-scratcher as well. But that didn't take away from the main content of the comment IMHO. In discussion with some apologists, this argument usually is used against my opinions so I was primed for it.

    Enjoy the blog.
