Spirituality And Religion
This blogger is aware of the controversy within the atheist community regarding whether it should adopt the term "spirituality" to describe a sense of wonder, awe, etc. Some think if an atheist calls himself "spiritual" it opens the door to being viewed as a believer in some sort of transcendent being. Others defend its use on the grounds of it describing the feelings of wonder, awe, etc. that all humans have when observing and/or contemplating nature and/or the vastness of the universe.
