The Failure of Television

PZ Meyers has posted on the failure of the expansion of television channels to provide credible information. Why should we be surprised? The public in general, and the media in particular, is uneducated and apathetic to truth. Simply, the only thing the media focuses on is advertising. Intelligent and informing programming does not sell, period.
