Science Is Excited About Maybe Being Wrong

Mail Online has posted on a recent finding that the laws of physics may not be constant within the universe.  Let's make a comparison.  One of science's most firm theories is challenged by new evidence and science is excited about finding the truth.  Science challenges religious dogma and religion circles the wagons against change.  Since religion claims to be another way of finding the truth other than science, would someone explain to this blogger how that is so.  (chirp chirp)
